For the first time since the beginning of the global pandemic of the coronavirus COVID-19, after a 4-year break in Italy, the grandiose Venice Carnival resumed its procession. The opening of the Venice Carnival is marked by a parade of boats dressed in various masks, and this water procession along the Grand Canal is led by a special boat in the shape of a huge water rat.
